Jennifer Reitmeyer, President
Jennifer Reitmeyer, the president of MyDeejay, has worked in the event industry since 1997 in a variety of fields, including entertainment sales and marketing, catering sales, convention services, and wedding and corporate event planning. In addition to her leadership of MyDeejay, she owns and operates WeddingIQ, a wedding business blog and learning resource, as well as Firebrand Messaging, a copywriting and content creation firm serving small businesses. A passionate advocate for business owners, Jennifer is a WeddingWire Education Expert and regular contributor to WeddingWire’s Education Center and ProBlog. She is also a professional speaker and offers small business coaching and consulting services through her hub site, JenniferReitmeyer.com.
Jennifer holds a degree in Communications from Frostburg State University and lives near Annapolis, Maryland with her two sons.
Leah McCormick, Director of Client and Talent Services
Leah joined MyDeejay in mid-2012 as the company's part-time Operations Assistant, and after a few short months, her role was expanded to include full-time responsibilities in marketing and customer support.
In December 2012, Leah was promoted to a position created specifically for her, as MyDeejay's Marketing and Client Relations Coordinator. In July 2016, yet another position was created for Leah, that of Director of Client and Talent Services, to reflect her invaluable contribution to the company as well as her impeccable commitment to upholding MyDeejay's service standards.
Currently, Leah plays an integral part in all aspects of the company, including managing our customer service and operations, overseeing our blog and social media presence, and being the first point of contact for all inquiries with MyDeejay. She matches each of our clients with the ideal DJ for their event, and is always available to answer questions and provide planning assistance as needed.
