It's crazy to imagine that it had been almost a year since I had met Seth in Annapolis to talk about his wedding with Amy - time certainly flies!  Seth and Amy had a pretty big weekend overall... Seth graduated from the Naval Academy on Friday, and they got married on Sunday.  The ceremony was held in the USNA Chapel (I wasn't there, of course!) and the reception was at Tabrizi's Restaurant at the Harborview Marina in Baltimore.

I had been to this reception site before, years and years ago when it was Catalina Restaurant (more recently Lillies on the Harbor).  It was hideous back then - the upstairs reception room was a mix of turquoise and blue... just terrible.  Fast forward to 2009, new ownership and recent renovations have made this a great spot for an intimate waterfront wedding reception.  The room overlooks the marina pier and the harbor, complete with a perfect view of the Domino Sugar sign.

I had a great time working with their crowd, the older guests were moving to Motown and country, and the younger guests went crazy on current hip hop and pop later in the night.  Seth and Amy gave me a lot of latitude with the music, and it definitely paid off - I took some key requests that paid off with a few very special family moments.  I also had fun working with photographer Rafael Suanes again, who I hadn't seen in over a year.  Thanks for having me!!
