Marvie and Joe hosted their ceremony and reception at one of my favorite venues - the Atrium at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens.  The place is great, plenty of trees and flowers inside and outside.  It turned out to be a rainy day, so the outdoor ceremony got moved inside.  They were both very laid back and rolled with the changes, and the indoor ceremony was beautiful.  After the ceremony, Rachel Lincoln and the staff of R & R Catering had to quickly turn the room over for the reception and did a fabulous job - it was impressive! This couple had a great music list, they obviously put a lot of time and effort into it - starting from the first dance, "Feeling Good: by Nina Simone.  Highlights during dancing included "Surfin' Bird" by the Trashmen and a personal favorite of mine, "ATLiens" by Outkast.  Their guests were great to work with, and I got a lot of requests for current dance and hip hop.

This wedding had a grat team of vendors - Rachel and R & R, Photographer Mark Hamilton of Hamilton Photography, Liz and Christina from Dolce Video, and officiant Steven Goldstein of the Northern Virginia Ethical Society.  Congrats to you both, and thanks for including me in such a wonderful celebration!!
