You may already know this but we at MyDeejay pride ourselves on having a team of diverse DJs familiar with all genres of music from Motown to indie, hip-hop to rock. Being that our home base is here in the culturally-diverse Washington DC metro area, we've had the pleasure of DJing every kind of wedding you can imagine from elaborate two-day Indian weddings to small, super indie affairs. We've also had the opportunity to be a part of weddings either including or featuring Spanish music, and the following post is for couples looking to integrate a little Latin flavor in their wedding music. We're fortunate to have Juan Leon as part of our talented team of DJs and these are his suggestions for cocktails/dinner and reception music with a little spice - Juan is 100% bilingual, which definitely makes it easier for our Spanish-speaking couples! We hope you'll get some use out of his suggestions for slower-tempo songs that work great for cocktails or dinner and the higher energy tracks that will definitely keep your dance floor packed. Disfruta!
