What can we say about Sean Johnson that hasn't already been said? He's a military vet and super nice guy who is a joy to work with. He's also a legend in the Baltimore hip hop scene, but that doesn't keep him from constantly expanding his musical horizons. The great part about Sean is that it is evident within 2 seconds of meeting him that he absolutely loves DJing and especially loves that his work with us allows him to give the couples he works with the night of their lives through music. Long story short, we like him and are sure you will too!

What’s the *best* concert you ever attended? I got a chance to see "The Prodigy" at Nations in D.C. in 2005. That venue was HUGE and had some of the best events in the area, but the band rarely ever came to our area at that time. Somehow I found out about it in passing about 3 days before and was able to get tickets. There were hundreds of people there, and halfway through the show the band jumped off the stage and played most of the rest of the show

Say you’re forming your dream rock band – you can have any 5 members you want, dead or alive. Who’s in the band? James Brown's funky drummer Clyde Stubblefield on drums, Incubus' Brandon Boyd on vocals, Kirk Douglas from The Roots on Guitar, Bootsy Collins on Bass, and DJ Jazzy Jeff on the ones and twos!

What movie do you never get tired of watching? The Pursuit of Happyness. The movie connects with me for a lot of reasons, but most importantly it is about not giving up on your goals no matter what the circumstances, and keeping your head held high even when everything around you says that you shouldn't. Everyone has ups and downs in life, so you have to take the good with the bad, and never lose sight of what the next step is on your path to your dreams.

So, you’re a contestant on Jeopardy. What are your 5 dream categories? "Months that start with 'Feb'," "Colors that End in 'Urple'," "States that Begin with 'Californ'," "Black Comedians Named 'Whoopi'," and "Drummers Named 'Ringo".

What’s something most people can do that you cannot? Remember actors names and previous roles. I get pulled into the characters, so I usually don't care who's playing the part. Plus there are so many celebrity actors I can't keep up with them all!

What is a talent you wish you had? Play the keys! When I was younger I spent years playing various instruments in school bands, and generally being around music. In the 6th grade, I started playing percussion. I played the drums in the Jazz band, and I had so much fun doing that, I ignored learning the keys. I totally regret that now.

What’s the first thing you remember wanting to be when you grew up? I decided I wanted to join the military in 3rd grade. My best friend and I spent our childhood watching all the cool military movies from the 80s and 90s. We saw "top gun", and wanted to be like maverick and goose, then we saw "fire birds" and wanted to be helicopter pilots. Then we played video games with his father, a retired army officer and we both began the long road to becoming soldiers ourselves. I still think helicopters are awesome though!

What music artists would you love to see on a client’s playlist for a wedding? The Meters, Louis La Roche, and pretty much any early 90s hip-hop or new jack swing artists!

What are some of your favorite reception sites in the Baltimore/DC area? I absolutely LOVE the American Visionary Arts Museum in Baltimore. I've been there a million times for various events or just to see see the exhibits and I've never grown tired of it. Next up would be the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, because the food is phenomenal, the sunset over the water is amazing to see every time, and it is such an easy place to work, from the staff to the room layout.
