When Robin first contacted me to be matched with a DJ for his and Sam's wedding, he told me he wanted everyone to "dance, laugh and have a great time." Judging by the photos from the very talented Kelly Prizel, I think that was accomplished! Robin and Sam were married on March 24, 2012 at The Hotel Monaco DC. As always, Director of Catering Buddee Clinton and his team were amazing to work with, providing stellar service and incredible food in a truly beautiful setting. We had a great time working with wedding planner Candy Borales as well!
Tiffany Newman of Marriage D.C. officiated the couple's beautiful ceremony. Robin and Sam chose some whimsical -- and perfect -- music, including The Dixie Cups' classic "Chapel of Love" for their processional and The Beatles' "All You Need Is Love" for the recessional.
Robin's and Sam's attendants included two maids of honor, two best men, two flower boys, and two ring bearers (one human, one canine - we loved Gussie the dog!).
After introductions set to "Temptation Sensation" by Heinz Kiessling, the newlyweds shared their first dance to Etta James' timeless "At Last."
Later, the guests fulfilled Robin's and Sam's wish that everyone have the time of their lives!
Robin and Sam asked their DJ, Anthony Simpson, for lots of "wedding classics" that would energize and inspire their guests to dance the night away. Looks like it worked!
Aren't the littlest guests at a wedding always the cutest!
Love the facial expressions!
That's a lot of hands in the air...
Again with the cute little ones!
A happy family: Robin, Sam and Gussie!
Thanks again to Robin and Sam for letting us be a part of such a special night for you -- you were so much fun to work with and we loved entertaining you and your wonderful guests! Thanks also to the wedding pros who made the wedding happen!
