What’s the first concert you ever attended? Guns N’ Roses, circa 1988. Rock on! What’s the *best* concert you ever attended? This is so hard, as I’ve probably seen 300 shows. I’m going to go with Jane’s Addiction, both times I saw them. A close second would be The Roots, again both times I saw them.

Say you’re forming your dream rock band – you can have any 5 members you want, dead or alive. Who’s in the band? Vocals: Perry Farrell and Andre 3000. Guitar: Jimi Hendrix. Bass: Kim Deal. Drums: ?uestlove. (or maybe Animal from The Muppet Show).

What’s something most people can do that you cannot? Snap my fingers with my left hand and wink with my right eye.

What is a talent you wish you had? See above – I’m tired of these basic human deficiencies! Who would play you in a movie about your life? Christina Applegate, solely because she is my girl crush of 20+ years. I’m right on top of that, Rose! What five things are always in your fridge? Apple slices, string cheese, organic squeezable yogurt, juice boxes, and Santa Margerita Pinot Grigio. The first four are for my kids, the last one is for me.

What music artists would you love to see on a client’s playlist for a wedding? I’m always excited to see old-school hip hop on the list, because it almost always kills on the dance floor. (As opposed to killing the dance floor, which is another thing altogether.) What are some of your favorite reception sites in the Baltimore/DC area? There are so many to choose from…I especially love the George Peabody Library, Corradetti Glassblowing Studio & Gallery, Longview Gallery, Meridian House, and Carnegie Institution for Science!
