We’ve been longtime fans of Washingtonian Bride & Groom, having been part of their “They Know Vendors” feature annually since 2006 (back when the regular Washingtonian Magazine published it!). We’ve also sponsored multiple Washingtonian events and absolutely love everyone we’ve worked with there. So, you can imagine our excitement when we opened the summer/fall issue and found lots of love for MyDeejay!

MyDeejay was named once again to the magazine’s list of top wedding vendors, and was named for a second time as the Editor’s Pick in the Music & Entertainment category. We’re in some great company, and that extra acknowledgement means the world to us!

We also had one of our favorite weddings at included in the “Real Weddings” feature! Alice Bailey and John Scholle were wonderful to celebrate with, and the vendor team was incredible: The events team at Rockwood Manor, Kustin Roe Photography, Bellwether Events, LynnVale Studios, Main Event Caterers, String 4, Booth-o-Rama, Fig.2 Design, Meant To Be Calligraphy, Select Event Group, AFR Event Furnishings, Frost Lighting Company of DC, Dulles Limousine, Jordan K. Winn & Co. and Symmetry Salon Studios.

Most exciting of all, our company’s president, Jennifer Reitmeyer, was featured in the “Ask the Experts” section, with a full-page spread with her advice for couples choosing a last dance song. (Thanks to all of our DJs who shared with her their ideas for great songs!)

We’re so grateful to Washingtonian and to all the fabulous vendors and clients who make our job so enjoyable!
