We recently had the pleasure of providing music for Kelly and Alex's beautiful wedding at The Atrium at Meadowlark GardensDJ Michael Bell loved working with these two and the incredible team of vendors who made it all possible!  Here's what he had to say about their big day:

Congratulations to Kelly and Alex! This was such a fun wedding to perform, right from the first notes of prelude music. They wanted to keep things classy, but also highlight Alex's love for heavy metal, so we did some Vitamin String Quartet versions of some metal bands from their albums "Unnatural" and "Anatomy of Evil" during the prelude to the ceremony. It came off really well and not too jarring at all. It was very important not to disrupt the pristine beauty of Meadowlark Gardens while it was busy blooming on an early April weekend. It was a perfect setting for Olivia Jacob to capture the love these two shared with some stunning images.

At the reception, we got some more of Alex's metal in when we used "Between the Buried and Me" for their introduction song, definitely a first for this DJ, but it turned out so well and really gave the room some energy. After dinner was over we packed the dance floor for the rest of the night until we dropped a custom mix honoring their favorite hockey team, the San Jose Sharks. Once the room was sufficiently pumped up from that, our lovely wedding coordinator, Meigh Mahaffey, busted out a wedding piñata that the couple had prepared. We smashed that and ended the night with a high energy set of current hits and throwbacks to leave everyone wanting more. Thankfully there was an after party to round out the night.

If this wedding was any indication of the years ahead for them together, Kelly and Alex are in for a lot of fun! Our best wishes to an awesome couple.
