One of the most common questions we get asked is whether we also provide live ceremony musicians in addition to our outstanding DJ services – the answer is yes! Through our partnerships with local ceremony musicians such as string quartets, soloists, classical guitarists, pianists, and more, we are able to offer the perfect live music options for your wedding ceremony at discounted prices.

Please note that live music services are available for MyDeejay customers only, we do not offer live music options unless you are already working with us to provide DJ services for your event.
Live Ceremony Musician Pricing
Pricing for live ceremony musicians depends on the type and quantity of musicians you would like to hire (a solo violinist is less expensive than a string quartet) as well as the date, time, location, and duration of your event.
Ceremony Musician pricing starts at the following rates (rates subject to change):
Ceremony (1 hour)
String Quartet: $1400
String Trio: $1200
String Duo: $1000
Ceremony + Cocktails (2 hours)
String Quartet: $1900
String Trio: $1600
String Duo: $1250

Live Ceremony Musicians FAQ
Are there limits to the songs we can choose?
The live ceremony musicians we have partnered with have supplied us with a sample repertoire list of 20-40 songs, and you can pick any of the songs on that list for your processional and recessional at no additional charge. You also have the option of choosing “classical” or “pop” music for your pre-ceremony music and/or cocktail hour. The sample music list contains common classical songs (ie. Pachelbel’s Canon in D) as well as modern pop covers (ie. Can’t Help Falling In Love by Elvis) to choose from. If you would like the musicians to learn a custom song for your event, there is an additional charge of $30 per song.
