Wedding DJ Pricing
Weddings comprise about 90% of the events we do as a company, and we’ve been recognized as the area’s top wedding experts – in fact, we’ve been the “Top Vote Getter” in the annual Washingtonian Weddings survey seven times and counting.
We don’t believe that couples should need to worry about extra charges or hidden fees just to ensure they have the right equipment at their wedding, so we offer a unique all-inclusive, flat-rate wedding DJ package that includes the following:
- Up to six hours of service from an experienced professional DJ on our award-winning team, matched with you based on your specific music and style preferences
- All of the equipment needed to cover each of your event spaces, including separate sound systems for ceremony, cocktails, and reception, additional speakers, and wireless mics – everything’s included!
- Unlimited contact with the specific DJ you’ll be working with the day of your wedding, from the initial interview before you sign a contract all the way through your last dance
- Unlimited requests for music, no matter how eclectic your tastes, and the expertise to turn those requests into an amazing dance party!
- Live music mixing and creative song transitions by your DJ to keep the energy flowing and your dance floor packed the entire night
- Professional emcee service – your DJ will take care of any necessary announcements in MyDeejay’s signature polished, “never-cheesy” performing style
- Online planning and music requests using our web-based planning system, keeping you organized and giving your DJ everything they need to make your wedding a success
- Travel, setup, and breakdown time is included, and doesn’t count against your 6 hours of DJ service
- An emergency backup system to ensure that you’ll have a professional DJ the day of your wedding, prepared with your music and wedding details, even in the event of a true emergency
Pricing is based on the date, time, and location of your wedding, and we will always give you our best price and any available discounts or promotions in our initial quote – you won’t even need to ask. We built our all-inclusive wedding package and pricing to be simple, fair, and easy to understand, and you can rest assured that we’ll never surprise you with additional charges for equipment once we get closer to your wedding date.
Wedding DJ Package Pricing Chart
Approximate prices listed in the chart below do not include holidays, travel over 90 miles each way, weddings over 6 hours, weddings over 300 guests, or for DJ Evan Reitmeyer (he is available only by referral and requires a custom quote). Contact us to check availability and we will provide a full price quote!
Discounted pricing is available for weddings occurring Monday through Thursday, depending on our availability. For weddings over 300 guests, on holidays, or that require travel over 90 miles each way, we will happily create a custom quote to suit your specific needs. If you need more than 6 hours of DJ services for your wedding, our hourly overtime rate is provided on the first page of your contract and can be prorated in 30-minute increments.
Wedding Uplights and Event Lighting
Event uplighting is also available, and can be added to our wedding DJ package at a rate of $500 for 16 uplights. We use only high-quality battery-powered RGBWA+UV uplights, which can accurately produce any color, including pastels and the popular “amber” glow. These companies work with our team on a regular basis and maintain the same high standards for quality and reliability that you would expect from us, and they generously offer discounted pricing to our couples because we do so much business together.

Corporate Event DJ Pricing
While weddings are our specialty and constitute over 90% of the total events we perform each year, we provide DJ services for many corporate events as well. Our team of professional DJs have performed for everything from black-tie galas to holiday parties, and have emceed countless corporate awards dinners and grand openings. We offer customized pricing for corporate events, but in general our standard hourly rate for corporate events is $450 per hour with a three-hour minimum. We are happy to offer discounted pricing when our availability permits it, so please contact us to check availability and get a price quote as soon as you have your event date set!
Private Party DJ Pricing
MyDeejay performs a limited number of upscale private parties each year, for a variety of occasions such as anniversaries, birthdays, engagement parties, and retirement parties. While we don’t provide services for children’s parties or school events, we are happy to accommodate private event clients as our availability permits. Whether your private party will be hosted at an event venue or a private home, our staff of professional DJs have the experience and equipment to ensure that your event is exactly as you’ve imagined.
Pricing for private parties is customized for each event, and our hourly rate is typically $450 per hour with a three-hour minimum. Discounted pricing may be available depending on our availability for your date, and we encourage all private party clients to contact us to check availability and get a price quote as far in advance as possible.
